Card.io is a gamified movement app that transforms cardio into a fun, social, addictive game of team turf war. Users can join or form teams with friends and communities, claiming turf around their city through outdoor walking, running, or biking. The app can also be white-labeled for corporate wellness programs for internal competition among employees.

Role Description

● Full-time, but flexible hours (40 hours/week)

● Lead the development of Card.io's iOS app using SnapKit AutoLayout with UIKit,

and SwiftUI for specific complex views.

● Maintain and develop Firebase Firestore, Cloud Functions using TypeScript, and

other back-end services.

● Write and maintain Python scripts that generate vital information for the app.

● Oversee and contribute to code versioning using GitHub.

● Communicate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 

● Help with cross platform code integration from iOS native app

Qualifications

● 2-3 years proven experience in iOS development (UIKit, SnapKit AutoLayout, SwiftUI), unless there is comparable experience

● Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Python.

● Proficiency with version control using GitHub.

● Experience with Firebase Firestore and Cloud Functions.

● Familiarity with Mapbox and mapping projects is a strong plus.

● Experience with React Native, Flutter and cross-platform code integration from iOS native app is a plus
