Food and Beverage Manager

Overview:

A well-established hospitality facility located in the scenic Chelmsford area, approximately 25 miles northwest of Boston, is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead and enhance its culinary and service operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the industry and the ability to elevate guest experiences while ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations while implementing and enforcing standard operating procedures for quality service.
• Maintain strict adherence to health regulations, sanitation, and safety protocols, providing staff training on industry standards.
• Develop efficient staffing schedules, enforce closing duties, and optimize labor costs.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, ensuring exceptional table service and guest experience.
• Monitor inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste through effective cost-control measures.
• Collaborate with the Chef to design cost-effective, trend-driven menus that align with brand standards.
• Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with the Chef and other departments to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is required, along with at least five years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, preferably within upscale establishments.
• Strong knowledge of standard operating procedures and health regulations is essential, as well as proven expertise in staffing and scheduling.
• Success in this role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
