Financial Data Analyst

Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Mid-Level Financial Data Analyst.

Position Functions:

• Provide support for budget formulation and execution by analyzing data, tracking expenditures, and assisting in the development of budget requests.
• Compile data from program offices and managers for reporting to internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for forecasting and variance analysis.
• Perform variance analysis to assess historical trends and support budgeting decisions for upcoming fiscal years.
• Generate reports and data visualizations for presentations to external stakeholders such as Congress, OMB, and internal management.
• Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting budget processes, including variance analysis, data modeling, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in using data tools such as Tableau, Excel, and Power BI to support budget requests, forecasts, and execution.
• Experience working with program offices to compile data for budget justifications and reporting.
