Financial Controller

Search for a Controller/Financial Business Partner for a division of a fortune 500+ in the St. Louis/St. Charles, MO area. This is an On-Site role (with flexibility) reporting to the division Controller and leading 5 reports. The ideal candidate will have a Hi-Pot profile with experience supporting manufacturing ops working as a financial business partner, strong experience with cost accounting, costing of materials and labor, statistics and min 5+ yrs experience with 2 years min managing employees. You will: Be comfortable with financial statements, Review and monitoring of internal controls, prep of budgets and reporting financial results; Complete accurate, timely - monthly, quarterly and year end close; Coordinate and support internal and external audits; Have a professional curiosity to dig in to the financials, determine trends and uncover anomalies; Analytical and inquisitive; P&L management; A professional approach to the role with an interest to coach, mentor and develop employees; This is a feeder role, searching for candidates that are strategic and promotable at least 2 levels in the next 5 years; You will be humble, hungry to learn, collaborative, trust worthy and professional.
