About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Remote Financial Consultant to support our governmental clients remotely. Leveraging your 10+ years of expertise in government finance or accounting, you’ll help strengthen financial transparency, stability, and growth for public-sector initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Revenue Management: Collaborate with government clients to develop, monitor, and refine budgets and revenue projections, ensuring resource optimization.
• Capital Improvement Planning: Lead financial planning for essential capital improvement projects to support sustainable community growth.
• Grant Administration: Manage grant budgets, compliance, and reporting to maximize funding impact.
• Audit Preparation & Compliance: Ensure clients are audit-ready and maintain regulatory compliance, promoting transparency and public trust.
• Financial System Modernization: Implement improvements in financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
• Strategic Consultation: Provide insights and recommendations to government leaders on financial and policy decisions.
• Technical Support & Implementation: Assist in deploying financial systems aligned with best practices and regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years in government finance or accounting, with expertise in public-sector finance standards and regulatory compliance.
• Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven history of driving financial modernization in government settings.
