Drafter: Experiential Events & Theme Parks

About Us:

We are currently seeking an accomplished (100% On-Site in Monterey Park, CA) Drafter: Experiential Events & Theme Parks to join our dynamic fabrication team. This role involves creating detailed plans and elevations for experiential, scenic and exhibit programs. If you're a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience, excelling at translating creative concepts into precise technical drawings, we invite you to bring your expertise to our team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Exhibit, Theming, Trade Show and or Event Fabrication.
• Must know how to work off of Sketchup files
• Minimum of 5+ years of CAD or Sketchup experience in Exhibit or Event Fabrication.

Responsibilities:

• Produce plans, elevations, views, sections, and details, adhering to established drafting standards.
• Create CAM drawings for CNC router operations with precision.
• Conduct on-site measurements of existing displays and translate them into accurate CAD prints, floor plans, elevations, electrical setups, networking setups, and shop-ready close-up prints.
• Annotate drawings with hardware call-outs, finish notes, and assembly instructions to ensure clarity.
• Incorporate redline corrections following thorough review by the project manager.
• Develop comprehensive layout plans for display fabrication, encompassing general dimensioning, carpet placement, electrical configurations, hanging signs, and graphic positioning for booth installations.
• Demonstrate strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to produce drawings that facilitate seamless installation and construction.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, sales, project management, and purchasing teams on a daily basis.
• Manage drawing layers and utilize appropriate scales for text, dimensions, lines, viewpoints, etc.
• Generate cross-sections and profiles with expertise in drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes.
