Data Engineer - Snowflake

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and optimization of our Snowflake data platform. As a Data Engineer, you will leverage your expertise to ensure the efficient and secure management of data, enabling robust analytics and business intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain Snowflake data architecture to meet business requirements for scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with data architects, developers, and business analysts to understand data needs and implement effective solutions.
• Optimize and tune Snowflake databases for performance, ensuring efficient query execution and data processing.
• Implement and manage data governance policies, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity.
• Design and implement ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data within Snowflake.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in Snowflake and cloud data platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Snowflake Database Engineer with a strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and features.
• Expertise in SQL and proficiency in database optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience designing and implementing ETL processes for data integration.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Snowflake Certification is a plus
