Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines for ingestion and processing of large datasets
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions
• Monitor and optimize data performance and reliability across various data systems
• Create and maintain documentation for data workflows, architecture designs, and processes
• Implement best practices for data modeling, data governance, and data quality assurance
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure seamless business operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with hands-on experience in data engineering practices
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Google BigQuery)
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and processing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
