We are working with a fast-growing AI start-up in San Francisco with their office in SoMa.

As a Customer Success Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring their customers achieve their desired outcomes while using their groundbreaking AI platform. Your primary responsibility will involve building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and guiding them through their journey with our product to maximize value and satisfaction. The company is very talent-dense and they are looking for candidates with a strong track record so far.

In this fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with customer teams, technical support, and product management to ensure seamless onboarding and integration. You'll not only address challenges but also proactively identify opportunities to foster engagement, drive product adoption, and achieve customer goals. As a trusted advisor, your insights will be invaluable in shaping the future direction of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and key users at customer organizations
  • Guide customers through onboarding and ongoing support, ensuring they understand and can efficiently use our AI platform
  • Monitor customer health metrics and drive engagement strategies to improve renewals and reduce churn
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the customers based on business needs
  • Educate clients about product updates and new features to enhance their experience
  • Collect customer feedback to inform product improvements and enhancements


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Customer Success Manager or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably in the SaaS or AI industry
  • You have worked with a sales / GTM persona so far
  • Strong understanding of the technology and artificial intelligence landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Problem-solving mindset, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with CRM software and customer success tools
