About the Role

As a Contract Finance Officer, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our governmental clients remotely. Drawing on your 10+ years of experience in government finance or accounting, you’ll enhance financial transparency, stability, and growth for public-sector initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Revenue Management: Collaborate with government clients to develop, monitor, and refine budgets and revenue projections, ensuring resource optimization and accountability.
• Capital Improvement Planning: Support sustainable community initiatives by leading financial planning for essential capital improvement projects.
• Grant Administration: Oversee grant budgeting, compliance, and reporting, helping clients maximize funding impact.
• Audit Preparation & Compliance: Ensure clients are audit-ready and comply with relevant regulations, promoting transparency and public trust.
• Financial System Modernization: Drive improvements in financial systems and processes, enhancing efficiency for governmental clients.
• Strategic Consultation: Serve as an advisor, offering insights and recommendations to government leaders on financial and policy decisions.
• Technical Support & Implementation: Assist client departments in implementing financial systems aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years in government finance or accounting, with expertise in public-sector finance standards and regulatory compliance.
• Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proven history of driving financial modernization in government settings.
