• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with designers, researchers, clinicians, product managers and a large, passionate group of peers to shape simple, effective user experiences and mold the future of design.
• Participate in regular code reviews.
  
  

QualificationsRequired Education:

• BA/BS degree in Computer or Math Sciences.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Must have at least 3+ months of experience working at a MedTech / Medical Device company.
• Must have strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Must have a strong understanding of modular GUI development in Qt (or equivalent tools).
• Experience with front end technologies and/or front-end frameworks.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
  
  

Other Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 10% domestic US and Internationally, with overnight stay.
• Ability to work onsite at the J&J office in Santa Clara, CA.
  
  

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with the entire software stack.
• Experience with working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with software development tools (Git, Jenkins, various IDE's).
• Attuned to the fundamentals of user experience.
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage workload and meet critical project milestones and deadlines.
• Medical device development experience.
• Experience with prototyping.
  
  

California Bay Area - The anticipated base pay range for this position is $81,000 to $129,605.A candidate has been pre-identified for this position.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
