Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commissioning Engineer with expertise in industrial automation systems to join our team, working within world-class fulfilment centres for a leading global organisation renowned for innovation and excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting advanced automation solutions for various industrial applications, ensuring their seamless implementation and operation
Key Responsibilities
- Perform commissioning of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and communication protocols such as Profinet and IO-Link.
- Develop, configure, and optimise programs using TIA Portal (16+) and Codesys 3.5 to meet project requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in complex systems to ensure efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with project teams and customers to achieve project objectives and maintain high-quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including configuration files, manuals, and commissioning reports.
- Implement and troubleshoot camera-based systems for industrial applications (preferred).
- Use Linux-based systems for advanced configuration and diagnostics (preferred).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in industrial automation systems, including TIA Portal 16+, Codesys 3.5, HMIs, VFDs, Profinet, and IO-Link.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex system challenges.
- Hands-on experience in programming and configuring advanced automation solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with camera systems and Linux OS is advantageous.
