At New Day Counseling, we do the back office work enabling you a space to simply provide excellent therapy. Our support staff are committed to addressing problematic insurance claims, collecting payments, providing you with a steady flow of new patients, providing supervision and creating opportunities for you to grow as a therapist and collaborating with you on additional roles that would satisfy your desire for growth while enhancing our practice.

New Day Counseling values work-life balance and offers flexible scheduling. Therapists can have 12-30 completed clinical sessions per week depending on their part-time or full-time employment. This position can be fully office based or a combination of in person and remote.

Responsibilities are:

• Provide therapy to individuals, families, and possibly groups
• Complete electronic notes and treatment plans
• Formulate DSM 5 diagnoses
• Consult with other providers, psychiatrists and family members when appropriate
• Participate in weekly group supervision
• Continue to learn and grow to remain competent in serving the practice’s demographic and your caseload’s unique needs
• General tidiness of the office you are using and the common areas

Requirements are:

• Current State of Illinois license as a LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW or LMFT
• The expectation is that you’d be able to block out a minimum of 12-14 hours per week for at least two shifts
• Good computer skills–we use G Suite, Simple Practice
• Organized, professional, conscientious, timely and responsible
• Willingness to learn and grow

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $89.4 per session

Expected Hours: 12 – 25 sessions per week
