Job Overview

The Claims Solution Consultant will play a strategic role in developing, implementing, and managing a claims product powered by auto telematics data.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage new product innovation and development projects for claims using our Telematics Services Platform.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on the end-to-end claims process.
• Work closely with Toyota Connected to integrate new processes with the Telematics Services Platform.
• Work closely with Toyota Motors North America to ensure we protect customer privacy.
• Strategize and execute automated claims innovations for TIMS customers and carrier partners.
• Prepare presentations to convey claims performance/KPIs to customers and senior management.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Translate business needs into viable analytical solutions.
• Work within the Agile/Scrum Framework to:
• Define the end-to-end process for claims data
• Creating Product Roadmaps and Backlogs for all products and programs
• Refining and Prioritizing Product Backlogs
• Writing User Stories
• Stay abreast of changes in insurance laws and regulations to ensure that our claims operations comply with all relevant legal requirements.
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 8+years of personal lines auto insurance claims experience (telematics experience is a plus)
• Property Casualty Adjusters License required.
• Multiple jurisdictional experience a plus
• Insurance Industry and claims management designations/certifications, a plus
  
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with MS Office products preferred/required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Experience with Personal and Business Auto Policies, and various coverages
• Exceptional technical skill and knowledge of coverage and claims handling
• Strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills required
• Ability to discuss and solve claim problems with clients and insurance Carriers
• Working knowledge of federal and state legislation and legal issues related to the insurance industry required, especially privacy laws.
• Must have the ability to prepare and present client presentations with clarity and understanding
• Must have strong internal and external customer service skills, with the ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clients and claims partners.
• Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required.
• Must have the ability to analyze and interpret claims information and loss data

• Associate in Claims (AIC) required
• AWS Certification, a plus

Compensation

• 100,000-$125,000 based on skills and experience
  
  
  

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

Remote: 08:00 AM-5:00 PM (Hybrid work model preferred)
