• Hybrid work schedule (3 days/wk in office)

Our client is an nonprofit agency that advocates for seniors, people with disabilities, younger people in need of assistance, and their caregivers, and the agency services northeast Massachusetts. The CIO will lead the agency in developing, implementing, and maintaining a robust IT strategy, with a strong emphasis on desktop support, IT security, and technology development. This includes the integration of systems, data strategy, and the development of tech programs that drive business objectives. The CIO will be responsible for fostering a collaborative environment where business-oriented solutions are created to meet program needs while balancing budget constraints, system security, ease of use, and high standards of service delivery. This leadership role requires both strategic vision and hands-on expertise in IT operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications in network systems (Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, Azure) and PMP are preferred.
• At least 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT service management, network operations, and end-user computing.
• Proven track record in a senior IT leadership role, with at least 10 years of experience managing teams and systems development.
• Strong experience in healthcare IT is highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and lead projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
