Job Title: SAP MM Consultant

Location: Dallas (preferred) OR Houston, TX (onsite hybrid, 3 days in office)

Terms: Contract

Requirements

To successfully perform this job, an individual must satisfactorily execute each essential duty. The requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Functional proficiency with at least 2+ full life cycle SAP implementations and 6+ years of industry and/or consulting experience in SAP Materials Management and Plant Maintenance.
  • Strong functional analyst experience in SAP MM, and extensive knowledge of Purchasing Master Data, Inventory Management, Material Valuation, and integration with FI and PM
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must. Understanding and writing business requirements documents are core to the position.
  • Facilitate meetings as well as prepare coordination and communications with business units
  • Be a trusted advisor, helping the business make better, informed decisions by presenting relevant SAP solution alternatives for key challenges; evaluate business and system impact of proposed changes
  • Experience in defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities.
  • Strong skills in tracking, coordination, and project planning.
  • Ability to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
  • Demonstrated initiative with the commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry.
