Choosing a Sales Engagement Platform (SEP) can feel like picking a needle out of a haystack, especially with heavyweights like Salesloft, Outreach, and Groove. HERE IS THE CATCH --- if your SEP operates outside of Salesforce, it’s just a UI swap, and you’re still juggling sync issues, data reliability, and downtime. 9 key items to look out for in a 2025-ready SEP: ??????????????????? ???????? ??????: Being inside your CRM helps with breaking syncs. API’s have to map to each other, they break from third parties. Bi-lateral syncs give you multiple sources of truth, with unreliable data. ?????????????????????????: Make sure you have a quality dialer so you don’t have dropped calls or quality voice issues. This happens when you have multiple call routes via a third party telephony. ???????????????????????????: Look to enabling your reps with a minimal amount of tools, not many that overlap which creates longer onboarding. ?????????????????????: Time is our most valuable asset, look for quick customer support and dedicated CSMs?
