Echocardiographer - Full-Time Position
Location: Milford/Dover, DE
Shift: Days/Evenings
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiogram studies, including Transthoracic 2-D, M-Mode, Color-flow Doppler, Transesophageal, and Stress Echocardiography.
- Conduct additional cardiac diagnostic studies as needed, such as EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress tests.
- Ensure accurate use of diagnostic equipment, including echocardiographs, cardiac stress systems, and Holter monitors.
- Implement infection control practices and maintain aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic information.
- Provide preceptorship and clinical guidance to students from affiliated institutions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in echocardiography.
- Experience with pediatric and neonatal echocardiography is highly preferred.
