We are looking for a dynamic Business Operations Manager to collaborate directly with the VP of Tech in defining and tracking operational goals. The role focuses on driving business operations initiatives, organizing large cross-functional meetings, and ensuring smooth execution of leadership updates. You will play a key role in data analysis for operational metrics, managing project deliverables, and supporting high-level strategy discussions. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal structure.
Pay Rate: $38 to $41 an hour
Hours: Full-time
Duration: 4+ Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Goal Setting & Metrics Tracking: Collaborate with the VP of Tech to define and track key business operational goals. Ensure metrics are established, regularly reviewed, and presented to leadership for decision-making.
- Project Management: Oversee project deliverables, track progress, and update stakeholders regularly. Ensure timely completion of tasks by coordinating across teams. Write and prepare high-quality content and updates for executives.
- Cross-Functional Meeting Coordination: Organize and manage logistics for large-scale meetings involving multiple stakeholders. Ensure content is organized, aligned with business goals, and effectively communicated.
- Leadership Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing leadership events, including developing agendas, coordinating resources, and facilitating event logistics.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed data analysis to track business operations and metrics. Use insights to drive process improvements and inform strategic discussions.
- Strategic Planning Support: Participate in strategic planning initiatives, providing detailed attention to the organization’s goals and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations management, with a strong focus on tracking and analyzing data.
- Proven project management skills, including managing deliverables, updating stakeholders, and writing content for senior leadership.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to focus on details while maintaining a strategic outlook.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to shifting priorities, and manage loosely structured tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior-level executives and diverse stakeholders.
