About the Firm

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Dallas, the firm has invested in 56 emerging growth-stage tech companies across the United States. Cypress pioneered royalty-based growth capital, an innovative alternative to equity and traditional debt, preserving entrepreneur equity and control.

About the Role 

Cypress seeks a self-motivated individual to drive the firm's deal-sourcing efforts. The role involves researching, identifying, and contacting high-growth software and tech-enabled services companies. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Cypress investment process and gain exposure to the complete investment lifecycle.

Key Qualifications

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
• Analytical skills and creative problem-solving
• Interest in lead generation and sales development
• Passion for technology investing and building industry relationships
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Organized, task-driven, and adaptable
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Suite, especially Excel
• Experience with databases and research tools (e.g., Pitchbook, Grata) is a plus
• Self-directed, capable of working independently and in a team
• Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record
