Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.

Position Required Skills: Position requires experience in the following: Creating API’s and applications using Spring boot, Kafka, Git, and Jenkins; Cloud platforms and technologies including Pivotal Cloud Foundry; Agile methodologies including Scrum, JIRA, and Rally; Microservices design and implementation; Operating Systems including Linux and Windows; Databases including MariaDB, and Oracle; Techstack technologies including Java, Spring, Kafka, OpenShift, and Jenkins.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,558.00 to $150,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
