Account Manager, Personal Lines

Location: Cypress, CA

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000

Reports to: Department Manager

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service, ensuring our clients have the coverage they need while providing expert guidance every step of the way.

What You’ll Do:

• Be the Go-To Insurance Advisor – Build lasting relationships with clients, understand their unique insurance needs, and provide personalized recommendations.
• Manage Policies with Precision – Process new policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
• Analyze & Optimize Coverage – Review client portfolios, assess risks, and collaborate with underwriters to secure the best coverage options.
• Be a Claims Advocate – Assist clients through the claims process, ensuring a smooth experience and timely resolution.
• Stay Ahead of the Market – Keep up with industry trends, regulations, and new insurance products to better serve our clients.
• Identify Growth Opportunities – Spot opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional coverage, helping clients get the most comprehensive protection available.
• Keep Records Organized – Maintain accurate client records and documentation to ensure seamless service.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 3+ years of insurance industry experience (or a college degree with relevant skills).
• Property & Casualty license (required).
• Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and regulations.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Applied Epic or other insurance agency management systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant software.
• Industry certifications like CISR or CIC are a plus.
