SUMMARY

Led by a world-class team of educators, engineers, and computer scientists, Ozobot integrates innovative product design with leading LMS platforms and emerging technologies, including Augmented Reality-based learning. Powered by our proprietary Ozobot Blockly coding platform, Ozobot seamlessly integrates with JavaScript and Python editors, enabling native code execution on connected devices.
We are seeking a passionate and driven Account Executive to help expand our sales efforts, with a particular focus on Texas and other Midwestern states. This individual will manage an ongoing sales pipeline, ensuring business objectives are met. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and nurturing new and existing business accounts, taking a proactive approach to account management, and ensuring clients' needs are met in accordance with service standards. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this role requires a highly motivated individual who’s a self-starter with exceptional organizational and customer service skills.
Candidates must be flexible to work remotely living within the market territory - TX is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience as an educator, administrator, curriculum coordinator, or in educational sales is preferred.
- Background in STEM, science, math, computer science, or career/technical education is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in K-12 education or ed-tech sales, with a strong focus on the Texas market.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets or, as an educator, a history of achieving results-driven success.
- Understanding of coding, robotics, and STEM is a plus.
Sales Expertise
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals and build long-term relationships.
- Deep understanding of the K-12 education market.
Market Knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of educational sales, with a focus on the Texas market.
- Familiarity with K-12 funding, STEM, and science/math education is highly desirable.
Communication & Presentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually.
Relationship Management
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain customer, partner, and internal team relationships.
Strategic Thinking & Adaptability
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with regional and company objectives.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive, “can-do” attitude, willing to take calculated risks.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical capabilities to identify market challenges and opportunities.
Technical Proficiency
- Experience using CRM software, sales tools, and digital platforms to manage sales activities and track performance.
- Travel: Up to 70% within the market as required.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work effectively in diverse environments while understanding local initiatives and district priorities.
