About The Role
The Data Modeler/Information Architect will craft, implement, and manage data models and architecture to support the firm’s commercial real estate (CRE) investment management operations. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and alignment with business goals.
This role is responsible for crafting and handling data architectures, frameworks, and systems to optimize information flow, accessibility, and usability. This role requires a good understanding of commercial real estate (CRE) investment management processes, data integration, and user experience.

About The Role
The Data Modeler/Information Architect will craft, implement, and manage data models and architecture to support the firm’s commercial real estate (CRE) investment management operations. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and alignment with business goals.
This role is responsible for crafting and handling data architectures, frameworks, and systems to optimize information flow, accessibility, and usability. This role requires a good understanding of commercial real estate (CRE) investment management processes, data integration, and user experience.
What you’ll do
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for CRE databases (e.g., property data, financial metrics).
- Develop and maintain data architectures and integration frameworks tailored to CRE Investment management systems.
- Design data flows and enterprise information models to support data management processes.
- Organize information hierarchies, navigation systems, and taxonomies to ensure ease of access for users
- Optimize database performance and ensure data consistency across systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data from various sources into a unified architecture.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and quality of data systems by adhering to standard processes in data governance.
- Work closely with IT, operations, engineering, and business teams to align information architecture with interpersonal goals.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data modeling, and information architecture.
- Expertise in data modeling, integration frameworks, and information architecture principles.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools (e.g., ERWin).
- Proficiency in database systems (SQL/NoSQL) like Snowflake, SQL Server, Vector DB etc.
- Experience with data governance, integration, and reporting tools (e.g., Informatica, Snaplogix, Power BI).
- Proficiency in user research methods to improve information usability.
- Familiarity with industry standards for data governance and integration.
- Ability to explain sophisticated concepts to non-technical customers
- Knowledge of CRE-specific data structures.
- Financial Industry experience preferably Commercial Real Estate
