Due to growth, we want to add a Senior Data Engineer to our team!

You will be instrumental in optimizing our data architecture, ensuring data accuracy, and building scalable solutions to support the company's business needs. You will be responsible for generating high-quality data extracts for clients, vendors, and partners. You will be instrumental in the developing, testing, and maintenance of internal applications. You will support business users to allow for business continuity.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable data pipelines to move and transform data in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Develop and implement ETL processes, reports, and queries in support of business analytics.
• Utilize Azure Databricks for big data processing and machine learning tasks.
• Manage and optimize the performance of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and ensure the security and integrity of data.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to provide data-driven insights and solutions.
• Develop and maintain data architecture, data management standards, and conventions.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality.
• Regularly review and interpret the ongoing business report requirements.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and establish proactive solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and system tests.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in ETL methodologies and tools.
• Extensive experience with Azure Databricks and RDBMS.
• Proficiency in Python
• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems.
• Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
