Human Resources Manager
ROLE`S SUMMARY
The HR Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the human resources function for Sallaum Lines in Cyprus. This role involves creating HR policies and procedures, building a strong workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. The HR Manager will play a key role in attracting and retaining talent while supporting the company’s strategic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- HR Strategy Development: Design and implement HR strategies tailored to the needs of the Cyprus office
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent in Cyprus, considering input and practices from the Lebanon branch.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires in Cyprus, ensuring alignment with procedures in Lebanon.
- Policy and Procedure Creation: Establish HR policies and procedures that comply with local labor laws in Cyprus and are consistent with those in Lebanon.
- Update employee handbooks and ensure all employees in both locations are informed of changes.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture in Cyprus through effective employee engagement initiatives
- Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution
- Performance Management: Implement performance management systems that align with business goals
- Provide training and support to managers in Cyprus on performance evaluation processes.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs for the Cyprus office and develop programs that reflect both local and branch-wide requirements.
- Promote continuous learning and professional growth opportunities.
- Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages for Cyprus,
- Conduct market research to ensure competitiveness.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements in Cyprus
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage HR-related reporting.
- Culture Integration: Promote the company’s values and culture in Cyprus
- Develop initiatives to build team cohesion and enhance workplace morale
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with a focus on establishing HR functions
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws in Cyprus, as well as HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
