THE SEARCH:

Altus Partners have partnered with a Large Cap Private Equity asset to find a Head of Controlling with a focus on FP&A activity based in Belgium. Our client is looking to expand their operations across Belgium with a view to be the key player within their market. They require an individual who has experience of working within Corporate Finance and has since transitioned their career within the FP&A sphere to work closely with the CFO as the company pivots through key milestones within their investment cycle.

THE ROLE:

Based in Belgium, the Head of Controlling will work with the CFO and shareholders
The Head of Controlling will have full responsibility for the financial planning and analysis, forecasting and budget control
Oversee the collection, analysis and consolidation of financial data to deliver to the C Suite team
Involvement in reviewing modifications to existing accounting systems and procedures to improve financial performance
This individual will develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

THE REQUIREMENTS:

+5years of experience in a Financial Controller position with a focus on FP&A
Solid understanding of Belgian Accounting Principles and best practices
Excellent communication skills, ability to work closely with the senior management teams as well as interact with shareholders and advisors
Motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across projects
Experience with ERP (Business Central)
Languages: Dutch, French and English
Private Equity experience is an advantage
