Growth Marketing Manager

Africa Tech Summit is a leading tech event series with Summits in Africa and Europe connecting tech leaders, investors and corporates and is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join our team as we grow and lead from the front.

We are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to blow us away with drive, enthusiasm, flare and passion for their role....while also having some fun along the way.

As part of our small team the Growth Marketing Manager will drive and execute the marketing strategy, drive awareness, interest and sales. You will be a self starter who can execute your plans fully and drive multiple campaigns in tandem, with a can do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

? Define, implement and project-manage growth marketing campaigns for a series of industry leading tech Summits to drive home our unique and differentiated offer while staying loyal to the brand and business objectives

? Drive marketing strategies to grow delegate and sponsorship acquisitions via Marketing, Social Channels (multiple), Media, SEO and PR

? Prepare and manage budgets for campaigns, initiatives, incentives, and other marketing activities.

? Full reporting of all marketing campaigns undertaken. Analyse and improve conversion rates per channel, creative and campaign.

? Collaborate/negotiate with and understand the business environment of relevant marketing partner(s) as valued strategic partners

? Develop value propositions and packages for attendee acquisition and partner participation

? Drive media and PR activities to drive awareness globally

? Use intuitive lead-generation techniques for data capture of new delegates and prospects

? Work and manage junior executive to deliver campaigns

The successful candidate for this role will:

? Have at least 4 years of experience of managing events marketing

? Have a keen interest or experience in the African tech industry

? Have a strong understanding of tech industry and preferably Africa experience

? Have excellent written and spoken English

? Be proactive, willing to go the extra mile in a start-up environment and own the role

? Have experience with CRM and content management systems, marketing automation tools, reporting and social media channels

? Be commercially astute, with budget management skills and a focus on

delivering positive ROI with detailed analysis of data to drive strategy

? Have experience managing complex stakeholders, such as sponsors, media partners and remote in-house teams.

? Be a team player, able to collaborate effectively in a small, busy, remote and

highly ambitious team
