As a Tax Analyst, you will work as a member of the engagement team and will be responsible for a variety of assigned projects that assist with the completion of the engagement – supporting a diverse array of projects, responsibilities and tasks, supporting client engagements by participating in day-to-day interactions with team members, providing a quality work product and driving delivery of services to meet deadlines.
Our clients are in a diverse range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, distribution, energy and natural resources, governmental and not-for-profit, higher education, transportation, automotive, real estate, construction and professional service entities — from small, closely-held businesses to large, publicly-traded companies – and as you gain experience, you’ll become a trusted advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions to deliver exceptional audit client service delivery. What You’ll Do
- Produce tax information statements, tax returns and related reporting in a volume-driven environment within deadline-driven timeframes with the highest level of quality set forth by the practice’s clients
- Participate on engagements, as well as wide range of projects; demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative
- Understand clients’ unique business and tax needs and referring them to colleagues in other service areas to broaden our business relationships
- Research tax laws, rules and regulations, analyze their application and defend decisions and/or outline solutions to those issues
- Handle, manipulate and analyze data and information responsibly; identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
- Share and collaborate effectively with others; invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
- Develop and maintain both internal and external networks; seek opportunities to learn the firm
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
- Graduation date in 2025 or 2026 academic year
- Must meet CPA license eligibility requirements (i.e., 150 credit hours)
- A preferred overall GPA of 3.3 (3.0 minimum), or combination of educational success and applicable work and/or volunteer experience
