Since 2018, SOSA NYC is the official operator of the Global Cyber Center in New York, offering industry-specific programming for corporations and facilitating strategic investments, partnerships, and implementations of cyber technologies. 

  

SOSA’s partners include multinational corporations such as HP, SwissRe, RBC, Rafael, Tokio Marine, and governmental entities such as the NYC Economic Development Corporation, the Australian Government, and the Basque Government. 

 

What we're looking for:

SOSA is looking for an experienced Corporate Innovation Account Manager who will support the global corporations with their innovation challenges and opportunities. The account manager will work closely with the corporate innovation team and be the corporates’ trusted advisor in every aspect of their innovation strategy in the Israeli innovation ecosystem. The account manager will be responsible for identifying cutting edge tech solutions for SOSA’s corporate partners. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish trusted relationships with corporate partners 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the corporates’ short and long-term innovation strategy and areas of focus
  • Manage tech scouting activities in a variety of verticals and maintain industry specialty and expertise
  • Identify and search cutting edge technologies on an ongoing basis that provide valuable solutions for the corporate partners   
  • Identify and promote business development opportunities for current and potential partners
  • Organize and manage corporates’ visits/demo days
  • Deliver accurate business metrics, monthly reports, weekly commitments, and pipeline development reports
  • Work closely and proactively with the corporate partners to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities. 
  • Achieve annual renewal and expanded revenue targets


Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as an account manager or an innovation/investment analyst. Preferably experience as an innovation manager in a large corporate
  • Tech scouting experience
  • Deep knowledge of the startup “scene”
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Passionate for technology and startups 
  • Ability to learn quickly and to work independently without being closely managed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must
  • A willingness to work in an environment that is welcoming, open, transparent, curious, collaborative, challenging, high paced, results-driven, and fun!
