We were honored to take the stage last week for the Mo?t Hennessy World Living Soils Forum at the CIA at Copia in Napa. Our CEO, Adam Koeppel, took the stage with Agrology customers including Anna Brittain of Napa Green, Cristina Lazcano of University of California, Davis, and David Pearson of Joseph Phelps Vineyards. The group discussed soil health and regenerative agriculture, including Phelps' latest venture into the fundamentals of regenerative agriculture, where they are using Agrology to measure soil health in real time. Agrology is proud to partner with Bonterra Organic Estates in their latest data release showcasing the impact their climate-smart practices have on vineyard soil health. Since Spring 2024, Bonterra has recorded greater total soil respiration and improved average microbial biomass carbon—key indicators of enhanced microbial activity, soil structure, and nutrient cycling, the foundations of healthy, thriving soil. As the largest Regenerative Organic Certified? winery in the U.S., Bonterra is leading the charge in regenerative viticulture. Their partnership with Agrology allows them to monitor these vital soil health metrics in real-time, giving them the ability to track improvements across their Mendocino County vineyards and compare the impact of different farming practices. As Joseph Brinkley, Senior Director of Regenerative Organic Development at Bonterra, shared, “For many decades, we’ve recognized the significant benefits of regenerative and organic farming practices for the health and vitality of our vineyards. Having real-time data to validate these benefits and guide our future actions is transformative.” Read the press release and sign up to join our next webinar with Bonterra taking place 10/30 at 10am PST. We'll dig deeper into this data and its implications for vineyard health, gathering insights and learnings from Bonterra’s many decades of regenerative organic viticulture at scale. Thrilled to see Sonoma County Winegrowers making strides in sustainability! Our partnership highlights how Agrology’s Arbiter Carbon Monitoring System is helping winegrowers reduce their carbon footprint. Proud to be part of a team driving positive change in agriculture. ???? #SustainableFarming #Decarbonization”
"What does the future of grape farming look like? Well, it appears that it may be a combination of AI technologies, Mother Nature, and humans working in concert to grow higher quality grapes while reducing their carbon footprint at the same time." Thank you Dr. Liz Thach, MW for the coverage, and to our partner Karissa Kruse at Sonoma County Winegrowers who is forging a path for a more sustainable future. The Farm of the Future Initiative is an important step towards the future of farming and we are honored to be a part of it. #FarmOfTheFuture #RegenerativeAgriculture #AgTech #ClimateSmart #Leaders #Viticulture https://lnkd.in/gCrEM9Hs

The benefits of increasing soil health are clear and how you measure those results matters. As Charlie Dubbe says, Agrology allows "your soil to speak." Set up a time with us to learn more: https://lnkd.in/gpYXhXdJ
This image "blew up" my LinkedIn almost a year ago. The fruit (Page mandarin and Pink Frost grapefruit) was analyzed by Eurofins Lab in NC (USDA Certified). Results are exactly what the picture implied. The combined data is summarized on a PDF linked. 26 nutrients: 2X, 5X, 11X... 39X. https://lnkd.in/e3PsNTqV

Field work is the backbone of Agrology. That’s why we’re excited to announce our new field technicians: Amber Kaljum?gi and Ian Ferguson! Amber is a graduate of Sonoma State University where she studied molecular and cellular biology. She comes from a generations-long familial tradition of land and resource management and is honored to carry on that lineage at Agrology. Ian holds a degree in editorial journalism with a minor in computer science. Prior to Agrology he worked for an organic produce and flower farm in Carmel Valley. He has a strong passion for sustainable, regenerative agriculture and is working towards a B.S. in Computer Science. As seen in these pictures, Amber and Ian have jumped right into our customers’ fields. We’re thrilled to have them on the team. Welcome Amber and Ian! #AgTech #team #climatetech #farming #soilhealth #startup

Regenerative has arrived! Policies, regulation, legislation, corporate commitments, and investment funds are turning their attention to the power of regenerative agriculture. Why? Because regenerative ag builds resilience and healthier soils, reduces risk, and enables beneficial systemic outcomes for climate, the environment, farmer well-being, healthy food, and much more. It’s 4 weeks until the 2024 Regenerative Food Systems Investment Forum in Denver and we're getting ready to dig deep on how capital and innovation are the critical levers that will move regenerative farming forward. This is THE gathering for learning the why, how and where to invest capital in agriculture and food for financial and impact returns. We’ll be there with our partner, Eric Morgan of Braga Fresh Family Farms to discuss how to transition to regenerative farming at scale.
