Sometimes we might get caught up putting our commissions and big funnel opportunities before our best intentions. It's putting the close in mind ahead of our prospects needs that ultimately make us less money and peace in the long run. A friendly reminder that sales should be: - Putting the buyers goals ahead of ours - Looking for mutual benefit  - Consciously making sure our active listening and note taking is on point - Being reliable and transparent It's following these reminders that are going to close more deals. Hate to break it to you But some of the top of the top of the top sales reps - Do not post on LinkedIn - Do not share their secrets - Do not help their peer reps to succeed They’re focused on themselves They do their job They focus on their goals They log off So if you want to find some top sales talent, look into your companies, not LinkedIn. Most of them have atleast 2

SDRs - Here's a scenario, your marketing team sends you a lead that downloaded a white paper from your company's website... The reality is that this lead probably didn't read the white paper. Best case scenario is they lightly skimmed it. But these leads aren't totally worthless. There's a reason they started looking at the content in the first place. Find out what that reason is! "what piqued your interest in the white paper?" This'll answer the "why". The "why" is often a pain point. Double down on that pain, offer a solution, and book the meeting. P.S. When you provide informed responses to their fears upfront, you show you truly understand their world and have solutions ready. They'll instantly feel more at ease. EQUITABLE ≠ FAIR Jamie Edwards, Head of GTM Ops & Tools at Gusto, illustrates this difference with the example of 2 types of sellers: 🤝 Relationship sellers: Super methodical reps who invest significant time to bringing in larger deals. ☎️ Quick sellers: Reps who strive on getting the quickest sale possible, and keep moving forward. Here's how the approach differs when you're assigning accounts: ⚖️ EQUITABLE: You assign an equal number of accounts to each seller. ✅ FAIR: You assign accounts based on the type of seller, i.e., more accounts for the quick seller as compared to the relationship seller.
