July 2021 felt more like a typical December year-end deal rush than a summer month.?Euclid Transactional bound more R&W/W&I Insurance policies in July than in any prior month in its history. ?Additionally, following June 2021 where Euclid had the highest global submission volume in its history, we had a record July with over 90% more submissions than in July 2020. ?We bound a July record 130 policies, up 231% compared to July 2020 and up 91% compared to our prior record in July 2019.?For the past 8 months, average deal sizes each month have been $400 million or more, significantly higher than April through June 2020 where the monthly average was below $300 million.?The average cost of our primary policies in the Americas continued to rise, and was 36% higher than in July 2020.?We attribute this increase in rate to clients and brokers recognizing that Euclid Transactional and other established markets have paid hundreds of millions of dollars of claims, and valuing insurers that have a proven track record for deal execution and fairly and efficiently paying claims.?Do these numbers line up with what you are seeing in the deal world and the quotes you are receiving for R&W insurance??
