There is seemingly “unlimited potential” associated with everything AI touches, most notably the medical industry. But, who will be held accountable when the AI machine misinterprets the data and creates a far less patient friendly outcome? Until AI can differentiate between good and bad data there is nothing “intelligent” about it. We need to call it what it is which is a very fast computer that retrieves data generated by very fallible humans.
