We have lots of additional resources to share exploring the perspectives of Queer women, including a video discussing the experiences of Queer Women of Colour in the workplace, a conversation between a lesbian executive and a transgender activist and the inspiring story of lesbian business owner Cindy Nehme .

WCS FEATURE:

Tackling Misogyny: Your Allyship Toolkit.

Learn how to effectively challenge misogyny across intersectional lines.

Celebrating Women’s Equality Day in the face of a rising tide of dangerous and extremist misogyny across the globe may leave us feeling somewhat disillusioned. In the UK alone, it is estimated that a woman is killed by a man every three days ; the Femicide Census 2021 ?found that around 60% of women killed by men were killed by a current or former partner.

We can’t expect to dismantle misogynistic violence without first dismantling the pervasive attitudes which allow this kind of abuse to proliferate. If you’re ready to do your bit then you’re in the perfect place. Explore our new Allyship Toolkit and learn key terminology, approaches and strategies to help you stand up to misogyny.

Amazing! Thank you for the work you do. If you’d ever like to “create some space” for a supportive gathering IRL in a physical space in Brooklyn NYC, please let me know.
