Collaboration is Powerful Heritage Commons and Middletown Rotary shared their time talents and treasures in support of the victims of Hurricane Helene!! Mobilized in Minutes with a Mission to Serve!! This amazing feat was accomplished through Collaboration!!! In what looked like minutes.... We salute Rotary Clubs of East Hampton, Madison, Milford and Stamford... Someone volunteered to rent a 26' box truck from Penske, arrange to fill it in Connecticut?and drive it to the Asheville area.....And someone else arranged to have a 53 foot box truck driven to Asheville by a driver. Rotary members heard a compelling presentation from Stephanie Zanker-Rivera, LPC on human trafficking. Know as modern day slavery, human trafficking is in every community. Ms Zanker-Rivera chairs the DMHAS Human Anti-Trafficking Committee that is committed to raising awareness and combating this issue.
