In Q2 2023, the freight shipping landscape saw the dominance of road and air transport, each accounting for a substantial percentage of the total shipments.?

Road transport claimed 34% of the share, indicating its widespread utilization and +6% increase comparing with the first quarter. On the other hand, air transport contributed 66% to the freight shipping volumes, -6% comparing with previous quarter, which is reflecting a global weaken trend of air freight market despite its crucial role in expediting time-sensitive deliveries.?

The second quarter of 2023 exhibited a remarkable 27% growth in the number of freight shipments compared to the previous quarter.?

The data reveals the distribution of road freight movements by route and their respective relative percentages, providing insights into the 44 key transportation corridors utilized during this period.?

The most significant road freight movement was observed on the LT-LV route, accounting for 9% of the total road shipments. This indicates a strong connection between Lithuania and Latvia, showcasing a steady flow of goods between these two countries. Similarly, the LT-DE route contributed 8% to the road freight movements.?

Internal transportation within Lithuania, represented by the LT-LT route, accounted for 7% of the road shipments, emphasizing the importance of domestic logistics operations. The LT-PL route, connecting Lithuania and Poland, followed closely with 6% of the road freight movements.?

The UK-LT route, connecting the United Kingdom and Lithuania, represented 5% of the road shipments, indicating a notable trade relationship between these two countries. Furthermore, the LT-IT route accounted for 4% of the road freight movements.

During Quarter 2 of 2023, the air freight movements showcased a diverse range of routes, highlighting the global widespread reach of our logistics and freight shipping division. The data analysis reveals the distribution of air freight movements by route, providing valuable insights into 64 key trade corridors and transportation connections.?

The most substantial air freight movement was observed on the US-LT route, accounting for 9% of the total air shipments. This underscores the strong trade of aviation assets and materials between the United States and Lithuania, indicating a significant demand for air transport services between these two countries.??

Other notable routes include LT-IT and LT-DE, both contributing 5% to the air freight movements. These figures emphasize the importance of trade and transportation links between Lithuania and Italy, as well as Lithuania and Germany, respectively.?

The LT-SR, US-AZ, and LT-TR routes each accounted for 5% of the air freight movements, involving Serbia, the United States and Azerbaijan, and Turkey, respectively.?

Furthermore, several routes contributed 3% to the air freight movements, including routes to United States, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, the United Arab Emirates and France.??

Various other routes displayed lower percentages of air freight movements, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Portugal, China, Singapore, Senegal, and Namibia each accounting for 2% of the air shipments.??

Moreover, numerous routes contributed 1% or less to the air freight movements, showcasing the varied trading relationships and transportation demands across different regions within Middle East, Africa and Southern Asia.?

This information enables us to optimize our air transport services and cater to the diverse needs of our customers in different regions worldwide.?

Glad to announce yet another contract with French airline – this time it is the flag carrier Air France. FL Technics started line maintenance support for the airline’s Airbus A320 FAM aircraft operating in Bergen International Airport (BGO).

Our team is committed to developing long-term relationships with partners and this new project is a perfect fit to illustrate the statement. We put the effort into tailoring our customers' needs and leverage the capacity and capabilities of our largest independent line maintenance network with more than 70 airports served worldwide.

This summer, we are delighted to share that our base maintenance mechanics are embarking on an intensive aircraft type training program!????? ??

We are proud to have organized these training sessions in collaboration with FL Technics' dedicated training department. This year, we have chosen the Boeing 737-600/700/800/900 (CFM56) type as the focal point of our learning journey.

In total, we have 27 talented students participating in this training, including both CS engineers and mechanics. They form an exceptional group of aviation enthusiasts eager to deepen their knowledge and skills.

The comprehensive training program is structured to equip our students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice. The theoretical part spans over four weeks, during which each topic will be followed by a rigorous examination to ensure their understanding. After this phase, we will delve into two weeks of practical training, where our students will have the privilege of applying their newly acquired expertise on the aircraft!

Our training team comprises not only two highly qualified instructors from Spain, whose expertise is well-respected in the aviation industry but also two exceptional managers from FL Technics who will be guiding our students throughout the journey.

At FL Technics, we believe that investing in our team's knowledge and skills is key to maintaining our commitment to excellence and safety. As the aviation industry constantly evolves, we are determined to stay at the forefront and deliver the highest standards of service.
