??????
Happy Friday Everyone! ?? Yesterday, we had another group of transitioning veterans graduate from our Airstreams Renewables, Inc. program at Camp Lejeune, NC! I always feel like each graduating class happens so quickly. It is definitely a bittersweet feeling! The work we do at ARI, helping transitioning service members and veterans find promising careers, is some of the most gratifying work I have ever been part of. Every single one of these guys graduated with an opportunity in hand and/or a sense of direction. ?????? Knowing they are leaving our program and exiting the military without the stress of that “what’s next?” aspect, is our ultimate goal. Regardless of what path these guys choose upon graduation, we know that we did everything we could to prepare them for that. I think that’s the most prideful part of the work we do; knowing my team did everything we could to help them close one chapter and open the next with success. I am so excited for these guys and their future in civilian workforce! Veterans, in general, really are a huge asset to any organization they become part of. ?? I’m just grateful I get to be a small part of that, continuing to advocate for their value! Also, thank you Jeffery K. for coming in and speaking words of wisdom to these guys. Your advice, relatability, and motivation was inspiring and appreciated!! Now, on to the next group of transitioning service members who will be starting our program next week! Hope y’all have an incredible and relaxing Labor Day Weekend! #gratitude #veteranemployment #renewableenergy #skilledtrades
