MUST HAVE
- BS Degree – Engineering
- 5 to 8 years of industry experience (Fiber/Textile/Composite)
- Microsoft Office Suite
NICE TO HAVE
- Chemical/Mechanical Industry experience preferred
- Fiber/Textile/Composite, Preferred
The?Plant Manager?manages all aspects of the Louisville facility to achieve operational & financial targets set forth by the company.
To plan, organize, and direct the manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance activities of the plant to maximize gross margin by controlling purchasing, product quality and production standards while meeting customer specifications and delivery schedules.
- Day-to-day management and scheduling of plant to ensure that production meets optimum labor and raw material efficiencies, volume, quality, and delivery requirements while achieving both variable and fixed cost objectives.
- Manage the Engineering function to ensure cost reduction, process improvements, and control of variable cost. As well, manage and request capital projects as needed to ensure that plant maintains its position and growth potential.
- Manage plant personnel on a daily basis to ensure reviews, benefits, vacations, salaries, and training are contributing to a skilled and productive workforce.
- Assure that the plant is adhering to all health, environment, and safety rules as defined by government agencies. The incumbent must adhere to company safety and environmental policies.
- Complete all Administrative requirements in timely fashion such as Monthly reports, manufacturing reports & analysis, charts, graphs, and reports for the management team, etc.
- Has accountability for productivity improvements and cost reductions.
Required Qualifications:
- BS Degree – Engineering, Required
- Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial, Preferred
- 5-8 Years’ Experience, Required
- Fiber/Textile/Composite, Preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
