En eventos de networking, es común que se hagan suposiciones basadas en la edad. La clave para desafiarlas es mostrar tu valor a través de lo que puedes aportar. En lugar de enfocarte en cuántos a?os de experiencia tienes, resalta lo que has aprendido y cómo te mantienes actualizado. Me ha funcionado entrar en conversaciones hablando de tendencias actuales o soluciones innovadoras que he aplicado. Esto rompe el estereotipo de que la experiencia se traduce en estar "desactualizado". El networking no se trata de competir, sino de compartir ideas y demostrar que siempre estás en crecimiento, sin importar la edad.

As someone who’s had a big career gap and worked alongside young professionals, I’ve learned how to turn that into a positive asset when networking.
