What are the key skills and competencies for a successful product manager?
Product Managers can add value to marketing efforts by strategizing ways to make the product "shareable". Marketing a product shouldn't just be limited to how users 'discover' the product. The way users 'talk' about the product is often an after-thought but should be planned ahead of time. Setting up systems in place for users to easily share feedback within the product itself are also important to identify areas for improvement and optimize the strategy.

The N.C. Entrepreneurship Center, housed at UNCG, aims to connect students with the business community. Its staff placed more than 80 entrepreneurs, executives and nonprofit directors into various classes throughout campus during its annual Entrepreneur Day in March.
Naomi Thomas received the 2015-2016 Jerry McGuire Student Entrepreneur of the Year Award. She has been involved with several programs and projects that aim to increase the number of women and minorities in STEM careers. She…The N.C. 3rd Place Winner- National Student Pitch Competition
WBENC- Sponsored by Shell
Women in the WBENC Student Entrepreneurship Program had the opportunity to pitch their business plans to a panel of judges and live audience at the WBENC National Conference and Business Fair in Austin, Texas. I pitched the mytechlife concept of changing the way students learn STEM with educational technology products. I won 3rd place and $2,000! The experience was absolutely incredible.
