This past weekend, the Carolina Panthers played their first ever game in Munich, Germany. The match up was a culmination of years of work growing the Deutschland fan base as there are over 200 German businesses with local ties to the Carolinas. In the days leading to the match up, team owner David Tepper and his wife Nicole Tepper, along with team President Kristi Coleman, hosted former players at the Jewish Community of Munich headquarters and the Dachau concentration camp. The tour was designed with the ultimate goal of providing perspective on Jewish history and culture in a time of increased antisemitism across the world. This month, REFORM Alliance made history. The UN’s Human Rights Council unanimously passed and adopted?REFORM’s massive criminal justice reform resolution which provides the first-ever global guidance to set worldwide standards protecting the human rights of system-impacted folks post-incarceration. The resolution will?impact 11.5 million people currently incarcerated around the world and is backed by 120 organizations from 49 countries. Sports legends - including the likes of Billie Jean King, Shaquille O’Neal, Joe Torre,?Jim Harbaugh, Doc Rivers, Candace Parker, Zach Hyman, Ryan Blaney, and more - have joined forces to turn one of the most common sports gestures into a call against ALL hate. The new campaign was inspired by a closed-door meeting between FCAS founder, Robert Kraft and major sports commissioners earlier this year as an opportunity for each league and its teams to take a larger, active role in propelling the fight against antisemitism and all hate.
