Street Musings: How About a 30-Second Shawarma?
If you were starting a new business today, what would you name it?
I usually find myself daydreaming on the streets of Lagos, thinking up alternative brand names for local businesses.?
Here are some catchy, quirky, and downright fun brand names that I’d probably never get to use—but hey, a little creative exercise never hurt anyone!?
Check these out and let me know which one tickles your fancy:?
1. Laundrini: The Houdini of laundry! Imagine a laundry and cleaning service that makes your dirty clothes disappear and reappear spotless. Abracadabra, clean clothes!?
2. Chowamar: Ever craved a quick shawarma fix? How about in 30 seconds? Toss in some akara and fried yam, and you’ve got yourself a street-side fast-food joint that’s as speedy as it is delicious.
3. Othniel: This name has a nice ring to it, right? It means ‘God is my strength/help,’ and I think it could work for just about any business. Maybe a bookstore, a café, or even a tech startup. The possibilities are endless.
4. Good Lukes: A fashion and grooming brand that rhymes with ‘good looks.’ Picture this: “Hi, I'm Luke. I care about your looks.” Catchy, shey??
Which one’s your favorite??
