Yesterday, Secretary Terrence Reidy and Deputy Secretary Susan Terrey were honored to join Governor Maura Healey and State Fire Marshal Jon Davine at the 35th Annual Firefighter of the Year Awards! This annual event, hosted by the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services, celebrated the bravery, heroism, and dedication of 139 firefighters from across Massachusetts. From battling wildfires to saving lives in unimaginable circumstances, these awards shine a light on the incredible work firefighters do to keep our communities safe.
