Cryptocurrency Gains Traction Among Indian Women as Developing Countries Take Lead

About 10% of Indian women own cryptocurrency, making India the third-highest globally in female crypto ownership. Out of approximately 685 million women, 63 million (9.2%) own crypto. Men still dominate crypto ownership in India and globally, with a 20% point difference. The regulatory uncertainty around crypto ownership does not deter female participation. Vietnam leads in gender equality in crypto ownership with 47% female owners, followed by Indonesia at 43%.
