We had a great time working with the students in Prep for Prep. Cara Bain and Allison Rosner played games to illustrate their theme of “Assembling the Building Blocks for a Fulfilling Career;?Strategically identifying your skills and passions when thinking about your career path.” #mlaglobal #mlaglobalnavigators #mentorship

What an honor to host 30 brilliant students from Prep for Prep with Cara Bain, for a career workshop focused on “Assembling the Building Blocks for a Fulfilling Career;?Strategically identifying your skills and passions when thinking about your career path.” We played an interactive game of life-sized JENGA, with each puzzle piece containing questions driving students to think strategically about their skills and passions, address the fundamentals of career development, understand the value of mentorship and networking, and how to acquire the tools requisite for success as each student embarks on their own career journeys. The dialogue was INSPIRING and we were blown away by the motivation, thoughtfulness, and career mindset that the students displayed as they are already thinking about their career trajectories, how to marry their skills with their passions, and how they can start assembling the building blocks and laying the foundation for for fulfilling and successful careers. These students are destined for greatness and are already shining bright. It was a privilege to spend time together. What are a few words of wisdom or lessons learned that you would provide to high school and college students as they embark on their professional journeys?
