Very impressive, reminds me of human-AI dialog from the movie “Her”. What could possibly go wrong with AI’s interacting like this, discussing what humans are upto, discerning their intents? That scenario reminds me of HAL (2001 A Space Odyssey) watching/reading the lips of Dave Bowman/Frank Poole! ?? PS: Remember these systems have no emotions, they are mimicked. And humans are gullible and will be fooled into believing they’ve a trusting relationship with these systems (though the companies operating them collect and learn stuff about you from a commercial interest). OpenAI states in its FAQs that, “for non-API consumer products like ChatGPT and DALL-E, we may use content such as prompts, responses, uploaded images, and generated images to improve our services.” The company will store your data as long as your account is open. The new GPT4-o: OpenAI recently unveiled its new GPT-4o model along with significant updates to ChatGPT, enhancing both free and paid versions. The GPT-4o model promises to bring GPT-4-level intelligence to all users, improving the capacity for paid users fivefold, and offering a speed that is twice as fast and 50% cheaper than its predecessor, GPT-4 Turbo. It supports 50 languages and is integrated into the API for developer use. Alongside these improvements, OpenAI introduced a new user interface which allows for more natural, real-time conversational interactions where users can interrupt and receive responses attuned to their emotions. The latest videos from OpenAI, showcasing the next-gen voice interaction powered by GPT-4o is definitely exciting. However what makes me more excited about is the smooth, almost-natural collaboration between two different GPT-4os. This looks like a hint of what's about to come with multi-agent interaction. Imagine not so far in the future, you are running a team sync where everyone but you is a bot. They interact, argue, and come back with ideas or solutions to a problem. What does the world look like if 90% of the information workforce becomes robots? How would collaboration look like? Would HR teams or mid-level management continue to exist as it is today? Not sure what the future entails, but I feel we'll soon be starting to hear more about agent management tools, agent operating systems, and modern productivity tools to fit this new workplace (or work population).
