The California Fire Safe Council is seeking applications for a full-time Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Program Manager to lead the development and implementation of CFSC’s inaugural GIS team. The GIS Program Manager will: - Develop and implement a plan for tracking and analyzing data captured by CFSC and local partners related to wildfire mitigation, education, and community capacity - Develop a data management plan and build out a comprehensive database in coordination with state and federal partners - Support the development of metrics for CFSC’s programs, analysis and tracking of the metrics for program evaluation, and development of data visualizations for stakeholder dissemination - Develop the policies and procedures to govern the new GIS Team and manage staff within the team Interested in learning more?
