?? Saventic Health has raised €1.9 million to advance their groundbreaking AI technology in diagnosing rare diseases! This funding will help accelerate the development and implementation of solutions that can bring earlier, more accurate diagnoses to patients worldwide. This investment was led by 4growth VC in co-investment with Poland’s NCBR Investment Fund ASI S.A. and the U.S.-based TNI Fund, part of Kluz Ventures. The funds will support the company’s continued expansion into new markets, including Europe, South America, and Canada, while setting the stage for a larger Series A funding round in the near future. Rare diseases often go undiagnosed for years, leaving patients and families in uncertainty. Former SETsquared Scale-Up Programme member, iFAST Diagnostics, has announced the closure of its successful $6.5m (￡5m) seed round, allowing them to bring their rapid antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST)?test to the UK market as soon as early 2025. While traditional AST methods require 48 to 72 hours, the iFAST system reduces this testing time to under three hours - delivering the potential to improve patient outcomes whilst making sure that patients receive the right treatment at the right time. To support this mission, iFAST has seen significant investment through its recent oversubscribed round, led by KHP Ventures, the first NHS-anchored venture fund, alongside existing investors QantX, UKI2S (Managed by Future Planet Capital, Kadmos, and several angel investors. These funds enable us to address increasing demand from healthcare providers to expand access to the Karius Test beyond the hospital setting and support research into the broader health implications of Karius’ microbial cell-free DNA technology beyond infectious diseases. The financing enables us to shift gears and accelerate our novel and potentially groundbreaking therapeutic strategy toward clinical proof-of-concept and beyond to reach patients in need of better autoimmune treatments. SciRhom aims to push the boundaries in autoimmune medicine by addressing TACE/ADAM17, a master switch for various autoimmune disease-relevant signaling pathways, via iRhom2.
