I asked AI to help brainstorm some fresh CES superlative ideas AND to write this comment! Here are a couple suggestions it came up with (and yes, I'm aware of the meta-ness of using AI to critique AI ??): The Mixed Metaphor Medal ?? For products cramming every possible buzzword into one pitch. AI-powered, blockchain-enabled, metaverse-ready, quantum-enhanced toaster? Bingo! The "It's Just Spicy Pattern Recognition" Prize ??? For the most overhyped basic AI feature that's essentially just a 2010 algorithm in a shiny new wrapper. The Emotional Support Algorithm Award ???? For the AI assistant trying wayyy too hard to be your new BFF. It doesn't just want to help - it wants to hear about your day and probably writes you poetry. Looking at the CES floor, I can already think of several nominees for each... ??
